Hi all!

I'm new to the forum and I'd love to cast some questions out there to see if anyone can help me.

I'm a professional classical pianist who has just acquired a pianola (which I love).  I've got a large collection of 1920's foxtrots, but it's the high end classical stuff composed for the pianola that I'm really interested in.

Does anyone have any idea how I go about getting copies of (let's start with) The Rite of Spring (Stravinsky's Pleyel Version)?

And, throwing the net a bit wider, how I get hold of copies of the Nancarrow rolls, the Hamelin rolls and the Ligeti rolls?

I've no idea even where to start.

Many Thanks,

David.

Pianola Rolls

Hi David,

If you live near Kew, the mechanical music museum there sells rolls.

Google pianola societies and join one - they run their own sales & exchanges of rolls.

Cheers,
Mark

Hello everyone. Just discovered this forum although I have had a player piano for many years.
I have been buying rolls from Post Bid Enterprise for a long time, and have found some that
I had been searching for such a long time. The catalogues are well set out and the bidding is easy.
There have been some bargains.

David.
